Indoor and Outdoor options

No matter the season, we offer an elegant location for your special day. Choose between the warm and inviting wood interior of the courtroom, or the spacious and sunny back lawn. All locations wheelchair accessible.

Amenities

There is a kitchenette room with a half bath, and a room opposite for whatever your needs! 

Parking

Unfortunately the Courthouse does not have on-site parking. However, there is street parking, and ample space can be found behind the Bank of Southside Virginia, directly across the street.

Join us on Saturday, September 12th, at 12:00 noon, at the 1750 Isle of Wight County Courthouse for the Constitution Week Proclamation Event, featuring the ringing of the courthouse bell, a reading of the proclamation by the Mayor of Smithfield, and a presentation of the Preamble by James and Dolley Madison.
